About EB5 Law

When Congress passed Section 203(b)(5) of the Immigration and Nationality Act their objective was to encourage an infusion of foreign capital that would create domestic employment and benefit the U.S. economy. This program is also commonly referred to as the EB5 Immigrant Investor Visa Program.

There are approximately 10,000 of these visas available each year. There are an additional 3,000 visas available for those that immigrate through a designated Regional Center. As a result, there is NO visa waiting times or visa “backlogs” like most other Green Card options.

Over the past several years, the United States government has made a number of important changes in the EB5 program laws, and these changes have greatly helped the program to become an effective and reliable immigrant visa solution.

Within the EB5 laws, the government also created a special provision called the “Regional Center.” The major benefit of the Regional Center investor program is that the government pre-approves the business for relaxed direct and indirect job creation by use of recognized economic forecasting. The EB5 Sugarbush Fund operates exclusively within this favorable Regional Center program.

Our EB5 Sugarbush Fund program has been carefully developed to meet all of the government’s investor visa rules. Our structure and investment plan was specifically approved by the USCIS Headquarters in Washington, DC on June 11, 2007 and all of our individual investor petitions have been approved by the USCIS Regional Center.
